Call for Papers

Decimonónica, an on-line, refereed, international journal which highlights the cultural production of the Nineteenth Century Hispanic World, and publishes two editions per year (Winter and Summer)--invites scholarly submissions from a literary or cultural studies perspective with a focus on Latin America or Spain.

Manuscripts, written in either Spanish or English, should be 12-30 pages in length (including endnotes and bibliography) and formatted in strict accordance with the 1998 MLA Style Manual and our style sheet found below. Articles must be submitted via e-mail to the co-director of the corresponding area/division (Latin America: Miguel A. Fernández [fernande@middlebury.edu]; Spain: Mark P. Del Mastro [delmastrom@citadel.edu]). Full name, institutional affiliation, telephone number, e-mail and regular mail addresses of the author must be included within the text of the e-mail message. All articles--original, unpublished, blind submissions (no reference to author's name and institutional affiliation)--should be sent as e-mail attachments in Microsoft Word (PC compatible) in the above-mentioned format.
